Pinata play group

My busy tax  season has started and we had one more item on our 2012 summer list - pinata. The weather for pg was great so I decided to host Pinata pg. O my gosh - it was so much fun! It was staffed with small toys and candies and everyone enjoyed it.

Leftovers were used by mommies: me, Jillian, Sarah and Monica.

Air and Water Show

Every year in Chicago there is Air and Water Show. This year it was not too hot so we decided to go. We took a train from Elmhurst, got on the bus all the way to North Avenue Beach. The show was great and after it we took a taxi to the train station. It was a very good day.

Check up

We went for annual checkup today. I am glad this day is over!
Gabi got three immunization shots and she cried a lot. Patrick did not get any shots but he cried because Gabi did. We were leaving the office crying and in pain:(
To cheer ourselves up we went to Oberwise for delicious ice cream.

Patrick weighs 30lb and is 36.75 inch tall. Gabi weights 40lb and is 42 inch long.

Playgroup at the Elmhurst Fire Station

Our playgroup met at the Elmhurst Fire Station on today. We brought brownies and fried chicken for the firemens as a thank you for their service. In exchange, they gave us a little tour. We had a blast.

They could not wait to get in, were so excited.

Gabi made it to the fire engine (now we know how if differs from the fire truck - the last one has a ladder on top)

Fireman Kevin explained everything and answered every single question.

Gabi and Patrick got stickers - and were so proud to wear them:)

We finished the day with pizza.

All my world

I have this feelings everyday but I don't say them often enough. I just want this to be it out here.
I love Gabi and Patrick so much. They are my world and they are the most important people in my life. They are so innocent, smart, wonderful, happy and funny kids. I love to hug them and carry they little bodies in my arms. I adore playing with them, look in their eyes and see their happiness, joy and love for me.
They are the best thing that happened to me.

They grow so fast. Gabi just turned 5 and the day before her B-day I was so emotional because my little baby girl is turning into this older girl, more mature and independent. She was so excited to turn 5 and I at the same time was so sad sad. She is going to the kindergarten in few days - big girl will be there for most of her day. I feel so connected to her. She is so sensitive but at the same time so giggling and happy.

Patrick is so funny. His body is tiny and beautiful. His hugs are strong and his eyes are to die for. He is very energetic, loving. He is goofy about many things. I love to hold him in my arms and feel his warm and tiny body. Right now I am his whole world and it is so empowering to me. He has the longest eye lashes in the world.

I love them so much it hurts. I worry about them all the time. I worry about everything - that something bad will happen, if they do well at school, preschool, sports - etc.

Time goes so fast and I just want to enjoy my moments with them. They will pass so quickly.

Birthday Party at Pump It Up

Birthday Party for Gabi and Patrick was at Pump It Up this year. This is one of the places they really enjoy to go and both of them were super excited. Most of our friends came over and we had 26 kids to play with.

Ala and Kevin came on super motocycles.

Here are all the B-day cards.

These two are from nanny Teresa. Gabi wants us to read it all the time.

Gabi grabed all her cards and went to her room to enjoy them even more.
