Field trip to Nature Center on OakBrook
This was our second field trip to Nature Center in OakBrook with Gabi's class. This year she was much more involved, interested and curious about everything around her. She has grown so much in the last year. The weather was perfect and the Sunflowers they planted that day are growing in our back yard.
Easter 2012
Eeaster was peaceful, we went egg hunting to our friend - Nathan and his brothers. It was fun and the Easter eggs were great this year. We also made some Easter art projects.

Patrick - co? nic!
Patrick calls Gabi - "Babi"
He does not allow anyone to do anything around him - I have to unbuckle him from his carseat, I need to give him his milk, it has to be mommy, mommy, mommy. He says "Mine mama"
Both Gabi and Patrick love "The Backyardigans" - one of the stories is about the Pirat wearing "Red boots" - and Patrick walks around the house seeing it over and over again or he sais "Arrr" as pirates do :)
He does not say yes - he says "Da" as he is Russian:)
When he does something wrong (spils milk or drops something etc) he says "sillly ja"
If something does not go his way he says "O man!"

Disgusting things
Gabi likes everything disgusting - smelling farts, eating buggers. She will hate me one day for this post - but this is the stage that she is at this point. I am sure we will laugh about it one day:)

Gabi officially has a boyfriend
Gabi loves boys.
There is no question about it. And they love her too.
She gets presents in the bus (toys and notes) from them and they want to sit by her side and play with her.
But she really likes Paul - our Irish neighbour from down the street that takes the bus with her.
So we went to the playground and his brother Mark called out "Paul - your girlfriend is here!" - haha - this was so funny and she loved the comment!

No training wheels! Gabi rides her bike like a pro!!!
She sat on the bike and started to ride it like she's done it before. Wow, I could not believ it.
