Skaboarding crazyness has began!

Patrick fell in love with skateboarding. We've been to skateboarding park in Elmhurst and he gets more and more comfortable there. Then we found a great skateboarding park downtown Chicago and we felt in love with it.

Fun at Beren's Park

 We said goodbye to the summer at the Lalapalooza event at Beren's park. They had face painting, life music and other attractions. Kids could stay up late until it was totally dark!

Volunteering as a family

I wanted to have Gabi and Patrick do something for other kids. They are still young and are unable to be part of various project. However, Feed my Starving Children organization allows everyone over 6 to volunteer. So we went and we packed bags of food - dried veggies, rice, vitamins and minerals and protein. It was a hard work but we felt great afterwords!

Kite festival in Elmhurst

This was the first time we went to this annual event but it was so much fun that we will go back again with our own kites. Gabi & Patrick made their own from paper provided by the Park District but also T-Mobile had their kits which turned out to be just fine.

Big diving board

Once they figured out how to dive in from the tall diving board, we couldn't stop them:)

On August 6th they also had Gymnastics's team pool party - with pizza and other snacks. They loved to be at the pool late at night.
