Cane County Cougars baseball game

Since the trip to Disney, Gabi and Patrick have been obsessed with Star Wars. Cane County Cougars had this special event with the parade. This was an amazing night with great show and the game. We will do it for sure next year!

 

 

First day of school is here!

The summer went by too fast! All relaxed, rested and full of energy we are ready to start this school year. Gabi is in 1st grade at Conrad Fisher in Elmhurst in Mrs. Arnold class. Patrick is going second year to Madison Early Childhood Center to pre-school and he is in Mrs. Lindsay class.

Air and Water show 2013

We loved the show last year and we decided to see it this year as well. We took the train and the bus and walked all the way to the beach. The weather was beautiful! Macelek and Nel found us there too this year, even though we did not plan on it:)

Mini golf 2013

One of the benefits of Library's Summer Reading program is the pass for the mini golf. We are not a family of golfers but it is always fun to spend a nice afternoon playing it. Patrick was trying really hard! :) look at his sticking out tongue:)

Pirate's Cove and Pilot Pete's cafe

Almost every year we go to Pirate's Cove at least once a year. Gabi and Patrick are getting older and are slowly growing out of this cool place. This time Gabi could not go on the claiming wall because she did not have close toe shoes - she was very disappointed!
For lunch we went to Pilot Pete's place for a great meal. We were able to watch little planes taking of and landing just outside our window. That was another great day!

Star Wars B-day party

After Diseny and their experience with Star Wars and Darth Vader - both Gabi and Patrick really wanted Star Wars B-day party. I looked for ideas on Pinterest and Kevin dressed up as a DarthVader. Guests and weather did not disappoint.
