Summer 2013

We love, love, love summer! We spent a lot of time in our back yard with some friends. Our neighbors - Lexi, Victoria and Coco (Eva) stopped often. We loved our little pool, anything water related actually :)

Sammy

Sammy and Patrick were best friends at Madison during Patrick's first year of pre-school. Unfortunately, Sammy moved out of states. Here are the pictures from the good bye visit. So cute!
They really had a great friendship. Sammy will be missed.

Day at the beach with Eddy and his family

We had a blast with Eddy and his family at the North Beach downtown Chicago. It was nice spending it with such good friends and enjoying nice weather.

Girl's time

We are still recovering after staying up late to see fireworks. Patrick was taking a nap so Gabi and I sat outside on the patio. We were reading books that we just got this morning from the library. Then we played a rhyme game. Gabi said that it was an easy game. She posed for the pictures like never before. I can tell that she is in gymnastics just by looking at the way she stands. She is so beautiful and athletic.

Conrad Fisher creations

Students at Gabi's elementary school were collecting bottle caps through out the school year. This is a beautiful creation they made out of it. It so pretty and it makes me happy.

South Africa Missionary

Few weeks ago I got in touch with Bill Rapier - a missioner in South Africa who travels there to visit kids in the orphanage. He stopped by at our house to pick up toys that we donated. He talked to Gabi and Patrick and show pictures. Here are the pictures of our toys that traveled all the way to Africa. Those kids have nothing and we have way too much.

4th of July

For 4th of July celebration we went to Babcia Basia i Dziadek Stasiu in Hoffman Estate. We had a BBQ and then went to see the carnival close by. We got tired very fast so we returned home and went to the playground to watch fireworks. It was a very nice evening.

Bible camp

For the last 3 years has been going to Bible camps. They are week long gatherings when they make some crafts, talk about God and Jesus and most importantly sing songs. I love the songs and we sing them for the rest of the year.  This year she attended two different one. Here is Gabi singing few of the songs.

 

 

Patrick again

Patrick is so cute but at the same time spoiled and gets mad so easily. We call him "chrupek" (chips) because he likes to each chips. We also call him "dresiarz" because he only wants to wear sweat pants, no jeans.
