2011 Skating

On January 9th we went skating. Gabi did it first time in her life ans she was amazing. Not only she looked super cute but she also did great on skates. Everyone looked at her because she is so tiny but was able to stay up on ice.

Gabi likes when I videotape her. She loves to look at herself in action:)

Jedrzej Indebski

Gabi loves this boy. She keeps watching it and tries to dance like that. She picks up her shirt to show her belly. She is hilarious.

New Years Celebration

We celebrated New Years Eve at Marcelek's and Nella's house. There were more kids from our blog and we had really, really good time. Gabi and Patrick lasted until 11:30 pm. We actually celebrated New York's Happy New Year since I was not sure if they could stay up that long.

Gabi dances "Seksi, seksi" like Jedrek Indebski:)

2010 Chicago Sport Fest

On December 19th, 2010 we went to McCormick Place in Chicago for Sport Fest. Everyone there could play/practice any sport they like. It was great - lots of space and places that Gabi and Patrick could play. Here are some pics:

Gabi is 3,5 and Patrick is 1,5

Last week both Gabi and Patrick turned 3,5 and 1,5. Unfortunately, both are sick with sinus infection. Gabi missed the whole month of swimming classes. They are on antibiotic and fortunately feel much better than few days ago. Over the weekend they went for sleep over to Babcia Basi and Stasiu. As always they did not want to leave.

Short list of things they like to do recently:
- they love to eat ice cubes, that is the best treat right now!
- Patrick's favorite toys are balls, he loves to throw them around
- in the last few days Gabi got crazy about the movie about dinosaurs called "Dino Dan"

2010 Chirstmas

We spent Wigilia at Babcia Basi and Stasiu. It was just great. Gabi understood that Santa brought presents. She got leapfrog game that teaches her an alphabet, ski, wood playset ang Patrick got blocks, stocking toys and racing cars set. They were very good and everyone was there so it was truly holiday time.

Madison Winter Sing and Jaselka 2010

On Thursday December 16th I went to Gabi's school for this sing along presentation. Gabi looked beautiful and she sang really nicely. Her favorite songs were Jingle Bells and Build a Snowman

Build a Snowman
Build a Snowman
Big and round
Big and round
Sun is shining on him
Sun is shining on him
He is all gone
He is all gone

She also had Jaselka at Polish School and her favorite song is Choinka, choinka wesola choinka:

Na galazce choinkowej wisza dwa jabluszka,
Przy jabluszku pierwszym pajac,
Przy drugim kaczuszka,
Pajac bialy jest jak piekarz,
Make ma na brodzie,
A kaczuszka zlota jakby kapala sie w miodzie

Choinka, choinka, wesola choinka,
Choinka, choinka, wesola

Popatrz mamo wola Krysia,
Jak ten pajac skacze,
A czy widzisz mowi mama,
Jak kaczuszka kwacze,
Pajac skacze, kaczka kwacze,
Posluchajcie sami,
A zajaczek tuz tuz obok,
Rusza wasikami.

Santa and Gingerbread house

December 4th and 5th were real Santa days. Gabi saw him twice on Saturdays since he showed up at the Saturday Polish school and at our house for Mikolajki. The third time was on the train - Polar Express. Gabi really did not enjoy each visit. We even had to put down the inflatable Santa from outside our house because she did not like him. However, she enjoyed decorating gingerbread house and was very proud of the final result:)

Polar Express 2010

Gabi loves trains. So this year we went for Polar Express train ride. It was on December 5th and the train left from Elmhurst and it went to Elburn and back. It was only Gabi and I and we enjoyed it very much. She was afraid of Santa though.
We looked outside the window, sang songs and had chocolate milk and cookies. We will do it again next year for sure!

Together forever

Gabi and Patrick do more and more together. They chase each other around the kitchen, put train tracks together, dance. They also love to drink milk together or sleep. By the way - they drink lots of milk - 4-5 gallons a week!
